Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Encore

  • The install was completed in November of 2019. We started internal sampling in December of 2018 to find the best products for a sustainable outdoor set - in extreme weather conditions (hot/cold/rain/high UV rays)

  • I broke the project down into 3 manageable elements - Carving, Paint, Sculpture.

  • Over 32 scenic artists contributing through out the 5 month long build period.

  • A team of 4, including myself embarked in the Netherlands for an 18 day long on-site in the middle of the North Sea as the ship sailed in rigorous conditions.
